Brazil"s President Jair Bolsonaro on Thursday (Jun 16) announced another reduction in import taxes. On his social media, Bolsonaro wrote that the change will apply to video games, consoles, and their accessories.

On July 1, the rate for console parts and accessories will drop from 16 to 12 percent, he said. For consoles with built-in screens (portable and nonportable) and their parts, the tax rate will be slashed to zero, from a previous 16 percent.
